Doug Hewitt (guitar and vocals) and Mitch Pine (piano) have been playing throughout Massachusetts and the greater east coast region for many years. Accomplished and well-known musicians, they are also founding members of the Doug Hewitt Group. Doug and his brother Scott were in the psychedelic jazz/rock band Zen Cats. Mitch had a long stint with local fav's The No-No's and is currently active with the jazz group B-Town Trio. Doug teaches guitar, bass and voice at his studio in Amherst. Mitch continues to hone his skills and write music in various genres.
